Study Room Use & Reservation Policy

The library has 13 study rooms available. Study rooms #1-8 on the main and upper levels are equipped with a television and VCR. Study rooms #9-13 are on the lower level. Dickinson college students, faculty, and administrators always have priority in the use of the library's study rooms.

Reservations for study room use are required 12 hours in advance. Use our online request form.

Terms of reservations:

  • Reservations last no longer than three hours per day.
  • Rooms left unattended for twenty minutes will be forfeited and materials removed to the circulation desk.

You will be notified by email the room number that has been reserved. A sign will be placed on the door of the room. In the event we cannot fill your request, you will be notified by email.
